1. Cheo Leo Cafe

Cheo Leo Cafe may be one of the oldest cafes in Saigon, but damn their coffee is good! Opening over 80 years ago Cheo Leo Cafe is legendary. Before Vietnam’s infamous cà phê phin there was cà phê vợt (A.K.A. sock coffee). A long sock looking filter, a charcoal stove & traditional claypots are still used to make the most heavenly coffee imaginable!

2. Okkio

Everyone loves a cute and cozy cafe, but Okkio’s design goes that extra mile. Trust me, this is a spot you’ll never want to leave! Fun fact: their District 2 location was inspired by the movie 2046, making the entire cafe feel as though you are sipping coffee inside a luxe train car, giving you all the design goals!

Lacàph Bar has something for the curious! Their coffee bar serves up some of the country’s finest coffee and is located in one of Saigon’s coolest apartment blocks! You have to try their signature Espresso Tonic because wow!

23. Người Tám Chuyện House

For a bit of adventure and an amazing view of the infamous Notre Dame Cathedral you need to visit Người Tám Chuyện House. A small apartment located at the top of 26 Lý Tự Trọng, this cafe is a small room with only 3 tables! Hidden amongst private homes with a beautiful outlook over the city, they only allow visitors who’ve booked a table or have contacted them in advance.
